Its been long ...real loong....and so many things experienced and learnt between the two posts...
high lights of the days passed...
yeah the formation of breakdown gang that made it to leh on bikes....
reunion o couple o memebers ..trek to kodachadri...missing best friends engagement...
another trek to kumarparvat by the breakdown gang....
work...work..work...between the happening days....
What makes ride a ride...bike ?? rider ?? music ?? roads ??
Din think of these during the ride , but yeah , after looong time a night ride
refreshed the mind...
Back in blore Hosur road by night was fun ofcourse when traffic is over...so
was the Domlur ring road...esp after a visit to LOR on a chilly december....
the bike juzt buzzes....
Tonight the unserviced unicorn was a bit ricketty...but somehow mlore outskirts
post 8pm were free for a relaxed ride...
Here n there a few trucks , a couple o higway check points , and cool breeze on
bridges over rivers and the prominent white divider lines passing juz made
my evening...
A nice black tea break on way gave tat tinge to the lonely night ride. Radio mirchi plays timepass music , latesht kannada numbers playin in background filters most of
the noise...but tat entertained me only till the radiowaves could make it...dire straits and floyd made the second half of ride better.
Malabar express was chugging over the netravati bridge...as cresent moon tried to
show itself between the fast moving cloud cover.....fortunately the expresses buses
had finished their last trips...so eyes could see the boats and the tile factory chimneys in the background in shades of black and grey...
Dont be a gama in the land of lama...Himank -the border road organisation boards
read back in leh...as the bike cruised...Wpndered we din have anythin like that here down in south...no green trucks...no jawans...every few meters we see sea , water,
and coconut palms...lucky us in a way...
The prayers in mosque were on in the background when I stopped at the Hanuman Mandir
, the usual stop point , sometimes believes turn out to be habit...prayers...and back on road...
Bhattre's house in Kodchadri trek had offered us good meal , and Bhttre's (diff guy) at Kumarparvat served us dinner , I had packed few Samosas from Bhattre's (diff frm the other two) on Kadri hill at Mlore , the journey from then became delicious as the samosas just melted inside the mouth...Bhattre's again..I thought...
Weather got cooler as the central coconut plantations passed...as home came closer...
I only wished I could ride a lil longer....
